COPYRIGHT

​I retain copyright on all artwork produced, progress shots and finished pieces. I reserve the right to use the artwork created by myself, Melanie Christian, as I see fit for promotions and advertising on my website and various social media accounts. If you are not happy having your commissioned artwork used for these purposes, please make this known upon ordering.  No duplication of the image is allowed without written consent, or to be used by third parties for profit.
The artwork may not be altered in any way, including removal of my signature.
Artwork and progress shots will not be shared publicly until you have received the final piece/it has been gifted to the intended recipient. Conformation is required at this time. In the event of no confirmation/response, I will leave one month after the last contact before sharing as I see fit.


ORDERING

Minimum 50% Non-refundable deposit is required before starting to secure order space.
Payment Plans are available for all budgets, see Payment section below.
Orders are completed on a first come first serve basis - please allow 4-6 weeks for completion. Some may be completed quicker than this, if it's expected to take longer you will be advised upon placing your order.
Most orders can be completed by a specific date, so long as a reasonable amount of time is allowed to complete the artwork.
It is the clients responsibility to provide a high quality image as reference, with the understanding that without a clear image, the artwork itself will not be as high quality. Multiple images at various angles are welcomed to help with any markings.


PAYMENTS

All payments are made through PayPal (you don't need a PayPal account)
Artwork will only be sent out once full payment is received.

Payment Plans available to suit your budget.

• Minimum first payment of 25% - non refundable.
• Weekly, fortnightly or monthly instalments of our agreed amount.
• As with any portrait, 50%, non refundable, must be paid before starting, see above.
• Once 50% is received your order place is secured. Allow 4-6 weeks from then.
• Portrait will only be sent once full payment is made.
• All payments made via PayPal.


POSTAGE & PACKAGING

All artwork is shipped in suitable packaging depending upon the item itself.
Free postage is sent by Royal Mail 2nd class recorded. Upgrade to 1st class is available at a small cost.


DAMAGE

Should an item arrive damaged in anyway, this must be reported me within 5 days. Photos must be included of said damage and a suitable course of action will be taken.
