Commissions
A commission is a custom portrait ordered by you, usually of a pet.
This is a helpful page to guide you through the commission process. I am always on hand at every stage to offer assistance, so don't hesitate to contact me if you are unsure about anything.
Media
Commissions can be completed in either Graphite or Colour Pencil media.
A graphite portrait typically uses a range of 10 different pencils. Whereas a colour pencil portrait can use around 50 in a single portrait.
Size
I have 4 sizes available, ranging from a 5"x7" mini portrait right up to 16"x20" XL portrait. Size can depend on your subject. Mini portraits are for single subjects only, whereas XL portraits can contain multiple subjects from several photos.

Prints
Various drawings available as prints and gift cards.
Reference Photo
Time to choose your reference photo. The quality of your reference photo significantly affects the quality of the drawing. I have created a page to help you choose the perfect picture. If you are unsure, I am more than happy to go through multiple images with you so we can decide on the best one for you.
Contact Me
Once you know your size preference and have your reference picture decided, drop me a message through my contact form. Make sure you include as much detail as possible, like any deadlines you may have.

Payment
When we have finalised what you are looking for, I require a minimum 50% non-refundable deposit to secure your place. Remaining payment is due on completion, once you have confirmed you are happy with the final piece.
I take all my payments via PayPal invoice. You don't need a PayPal account, just an email address and bank account.
Progress Shots
Throughout the progress of your portrait I will keep you up to date with how your portrait is going.
This gives you the opportunity to give feedback and suggest any adjustments as I go. This is far easier during the progress than at the end.
All progress for gifts will be sent privately so as to not spoil the surprise.
Completion
Once I have finished your portrait I will send you a final copy to ensure you are fully satisfied with the finished piece. After this you will receive a last invoice for the remaining payment.
Your portrait will then be packaged up safely and posted to your chosen address. Postage & Packaging varies depend on the portrait you chose, whether it is framed etc.
